How to Copy DVD to ISO for Backup on Computer

Therefore, it is necessary for DVD lovers to backup their favorite DVD discs to local ISO image files in case of such accidents. Here we show two easy-to-master methods to have the job done.
With DVD Copy Software
With a DVD copy, you may create ISO image files from DVD disc and DVD folder (with VOB files in it), you may also directly copy DVD to another DVD disc so you can send the backup copy to your friends or families as a gift.
1. Download and install Professional DVD Copy.
2. Select copy source from DVD disc or DVD folder which is saved on your hard drive.
3. Select output target from ISO, DVD disc, and DVD folder. Here you may just select ISO, and then specify a directory to save the generated ISO image files.
4. Click "Start" to start copying DVD to ISO. It will take you a few minutes to finish.
Optional: You may also select copy mode from "Full Movie", "Main Movie", and "Custom Mode". Selecting "Custom Mode" means you can select several titles and preview them, then decide which parts to copy.
With ISO Burner
While both DVD copy software and ISO burner can rip DVD to ISO files, ISO burner focuses on the two-way conversion between DVD and ISO. That means ISO burner can not only rip/convert DVD to ISO, but burn ISO image files to DVD or CD discs. Here, how to use an ISO burner to convert DVD to ISO is introduced as below.
1. Download and install ISO Burner.
1. Click "Add", a window will pop up for you to select source, then choose DVD-ROM to start conversion to ISO files.
2. Click "Burn" to start converting DVD to ISO image files.
